Conference Financial Support Scheme
If you are thinking of bringing an international conference to Ireland, or you are already involved in this process, you may apply to Failte Ireland for financial support to assist you with your bid and maximise delegate attendance.
The Conference Financial Support Scheme can assist you every step of the way, from bid stage right through to marketing your conference to ensure that your conference will be a successful and memorable one.
Broadly, there are three stages to our support scheme, and we help with the financial cost in the following areas;
- Bid - bid document and related items; and travel and related provided this is to present bid. Sample Bid Document.
- Site Inspection to Ireland - travel and related; and accommodation (only supported when complimentary accommodation cannot be arranged).
- Marketing - Limited assistance towards travel in the intervening years to promote Ireland to delegates; assistance towards welcoming receptions for delegates in certain circumstances; and print / website design, etc.
